Completions improved while entrants dipped

Finished onboardings moved 289 → 304 (+5.2%) while splash entrants moved 455 → 434 (-4.6%). The current week therefore converted better through the lower half of onboarding.

Return quality is stable, not clearly better

Re-open coverage is essentially unchanged (54.2% → 54.0%) and time to next app open is also stable (9.9h → 10.0h). The win is completion efficiency, not post-onboarding return behavior.

Feed reach and user engagement softened, but content supply improved

Feed visitors decreased 721 → 704 (-2.4%) and engaged users decreased 271 → 260 (-4.1%). Engagement rate moved from 37.6% → 36.9%. However, posts published increased 326 → 345 (+5.8%), and total feed engagement events increased 6,451 → 7,485 (+16.0%).

Sync with the previous official weekly report

The negative growth in the official weekly report was for the earlier comparison: 03–09 Aug vs 27 Jul–02 Aug. In that window, Feed visitors fell 874 → 721 (-17.5%), engaged users fell 345 → 271 (-21.4%), and posts published fell 359 → 326 (-9.2%). This report then rolls the window forward: 10–16 Aug vs 03–09 Aug, where visitors and engaged users are still slightly down, but posts rebound.

Engagement actions increased overall, led by likes and post opens

Total feed engagement events increased +16.0%. Likes rose 4,959 → 5,907 (+19.1%) and post opens rose 469 → 594 (+26.7%). Comments moved the other way, decreasing 325 → 277 (-14.8%), so the extra engagement was more lightweight than conversational.

What improved

Onboarding completions improved +5.2%, and feed content supply improved +5.8%. Total feed engagement events were also higher, led by more likes and post opens.

What needs attention

Active reach and frequency did not grow with onboarding. Active users were slightly down, 2+ day active users fell materially, and feed engaged users/rate softened. The likely story is better onboarding completion, but weaker repeat engagement during the same week.
